		<description>Yahoogroups has an export function for the members list, but not for messages, unfortunately. I have some messages archived, but lost others to a hard drive failure a few years ago.

Actually the only bummer about closing aus_emusic is that the messages are gone. There were some interesting discussion threads on the list which pop up in the googleverse. Would be good if Yahoo et you shut the list without deleting the messages.

Agreed that email is a massive chore these days...  I reckon my life would actually be better off without it.  That said, I remember when i used to start the day with 1.5 hours of reading and responding to my email lists. Those were the days!! I remember i had a lot less other email to deal with tho'!</description>
